Flight of the Conchords is also good. I just finished up the first season. Yeah, I'm slow. Murray kicks ass. It's about my turn to choose the next song my band covers, and I'm tempted to make everyone learn Business Time or Hiphopopotamus v. The Rhymnocerous. I deeply regret that I did not think of Hiphopopotamus as my rapping name.

A buddy of mine brought Left for Dead by my place the other day. That damn game is tense and fun! I'm getting nightmares about running zombies, but it's totally worth it.

Kavalier and Klay - finished this a couple weeks back. Long as fuck, overwrought prose, annoying diversions to describe shit I don't care about (two characters walk down the street, pass a church, half page description of church that has no bearing on the plot ensues), and yet I liked it. It needed a good editor, or it needed to be about twice as long. Chabon could've cut a bunch of stuff to make it more focused or he needed to go all Tolstoy/Nabokov/Russian-style-longwinded to do a full on history of every-motherfucking-thing. Instead, it felt unsure in its direction.

Been rewatching Star Wars cuz it was on FX the other day. The old ones, that is. And, it struck me that Yoda's an annoying, nay-sayin, downer prick. I wanted to choke that fucking puppet out. Everything has already been said about Star Wars. Everything. But I felt I should share.
