Aaron Boone needs open heart surgery. Care to jab at the 87 year old baseball player jokes?
Feel sorry for the guy on a totally human level... but this is a sign from above letting us know that we are destined for a failure not yet known to MLB right?
It's a sad, sad, sad commentary on your team to be concerned that they lost Aaron Boone.
Any other team in the majors could pull some 30 year old career minors player from their farm system and have him put up an OPS around .680. Frighteningly OPS is a relatively favorable stat for Boone, his OBP is usually around .300-.320.
Sucks for him.
Can't really hurt us.
If definitely not a good sign, though.
It seems we're pretty unmotivated these days.
