and I instantly felt certain that the Astros will make a run at him in the offseason, pay him too fucking much, and try and make him into a starter when he's clearly a late-inning defensive replacement at this point in his career.

I'm hopeful that our pending last place finish (probably next year too) will result in Drayton not trying the gimmick free agent shit.

Deadspin just crashed itself into the building full of burning magnesium by banning all those commenters. I have no inclination to read that site anymore. AJ = Not interesting, and the commenters were the only thing keeping it worth a shit.
It's almost pointless to bitch about the Astros, everyone realizes how much they suck, except the main site. They keep posting bullshit about a history of comebacks, maybe this one game winning streak will turn the season around, etc, etc.
It's a shame colleg football can't start in July or something. It's the sport I follow most diligently nowadays.
NFL is good until my fantasy team falls out of contention - round week 3, then I just don't care.

I heard that. I have fully reverted back to 80s stuff again. Alot of Megadeth and Slayer, and I don't know why. What is annoying is the stuff I listen to the most starts to come out in my fiddling around, and I honestly have no urge to write that thrashy metal stuff but my hands want to do it.
